September was a busy month for this West Midlands rapper with the release of two projects, an EP and a ‘remix’ style street album. Deeze has also re-designed and re-launched his brand new website www.BigDuttyDeeze.com and later this month is off to France for a three date mini-tour with producer Juttla. It’s all go and there’s plenty more music to come before he drops much anticipated debut album in 2012.
‘This Is Gotham’ is the Batman inspired seven track EP that features production from Stealf, Tricksta & Lienad. All tracks sample music from Batman films and lyrically Deeze talks on life in inner-city England. This EP has had support from various DJ’s, as well as GlobalRapNetwork.com saying ‘Deeze is so talented and so creative, this man is a UK name to watch’ and FromThaGutta.com saying ‘This contains bars that rappers will have wished they would have written.’ With excellent wordplay and top notch beats grab this now.

‘Lyrical Surgery’ is the Tricksta produced ten track remix project that is Deeze’s seventh release and third release with UK Runnings. Tricksta picked his favourite Deeze tracks from his first four mixtapes and gave them all a new lease of life. This release has had good feedback from various mixtape DJ’s and got RawRoots.com saying ‘this project is full of gems’ and UndergroundPhenomenon.com saying ‘From the off this release impressed, it’s a well rounded project’. Deeze also features on the newly released album Masters Of Conversation produced by Rediculus from Chicago. He features on a track alongside the legendary Craig G as well as having a solo track. The album entitled ‘Punchlines & Parables’ is out now on Knowledge Giving Birth and available on MP3 on iTunes featuring Sadat X, Ruste Juxx, Chubb Rock, Sha Stimuli, Shabaam Sahdeeq, DJ Ready Cee, Gage One and more. Since these collaborations Rediculus has now asked Deeze to record an album for Knowledge Giving Birth that will be distributed by Island/Def Jam.
Now Deeze gears up for his eighth mixtape and what he promises will be his biggest mixtape release to date. ‘The Rogue Angel’ will feature all brand new material and be mixed & hosted by the award winning DJ Ames.
